First race of the season at the Forest of Dean Mini for Harry Heath.  First race and first win.  With the first World Cup being so early this year Harry wanted to get back into race mode so he booked onto some winter races. It was sunny and warm all weekend and the track was even dusty in places which was not expected at all.

Saturday practice was good fun as it was only a short track.  It didn't take long to be up to speed and it seemed that he got time to have some fun on the track.

First race run on Sunday was solid but as he stated: “I knew I could make more time up which I did in my second run to take the win by 1.14 seconds with a time of 1:15.52”. Congratulations Harry!

Willingen 2011, bike festival.

For the last 4 years Sapim has exhibited at the bike festival of Willingen.
Our race mechanics, Klaus, Dieter and Bruno felt in love with the festival.  The demand for better wheels was high. Repair and upgrade of wheels kept the Sapim team busy the whole day.  It looked to us as riders are really hardcore users.

As Sapim likes to promote good wheels, it offered wheel service free of charge.
Over the week-end, the team had repaired 50 wheels and had to build up 27 complete wheels, but most important riders left our stand with a smile in their faces.
